The 4.6 × 150 mm column is one of the most common formats in pharmacopoeial methods and manufacturers’ methods. It runs on any analytical HPLC at about 1 mL/min.
Particle size determines efficiency and pressure: 5 µm is standard for older methods, while 3–3.5 µm gives narrower peaks at higher pressure. If your method requires a specific column brand, mention it in your request.
